Gwardars

Description

This reasonably large snake grows to around 1.6m and is variable in colour ranging from brown to bronze this species also can have a black head and some have a zig zag patten running through its body making it a very appealing looking snake indeed.

Habitat

This species of snake can be found hiding under logs in hollows and in piles of rubbish or tin sheeting. 

Distribution

The range of this snake is very vast indeed and can be found over most of W.A exept the black soil plains and the far south corner of the state. this form of brown snake is mostly abundant in the arid regions of the state.
